Smithe & Richards on a Saturday afternoon, despite COVID, was busy with traffic and pedestrians, with lots of orange cones and debris from partially completed construction of a new section of bike path along Richards St. We sat on a bench on the NW corner and waited til the traffic lights were in our favour before recording, to minimize the level of noise from passing cars. The sun was trying to break through the clouds. Today the clouds were rain clouds, in a moment of relief from wildfire smoke clouds. People were out enjoying the fresh air.
